2. What data we collect

Depending on how you use Northlane, we may collect:

• Identity and contact data: full name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, and government ID details required for know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money-laundering checks.
• Account and trading data: account identifiers, funding source references, order history, watchlists, paper-trading activity, and preference settings.

5. Third-party services

We work with processors who help us run the business under written agreements:

• Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether ads led to trial requests — loaded only after "Accept All."
• Identity verification and banking partners for KYC, ACH, wire, and Interac e-Transfer rails.
• Cloud hosting and email delivery providers located in the United States or Canada.

These providers may process data only on our instructions. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own unrelated marketing.

6. Cookies

We use three categories of cookies:

Email privacy@northlanemarkets.com with your name, the email tied to your account or form submission, and the request type. We verify identity before releasing data. We aim to respond within 45 days (California) or 30 days (Canada), and will tell you if we need more time.

12. Data security

We use TLS encryption in transit, access controls for staff accounts, and network monitoring designed to meet common financial-industry security practices. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.

13. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. International transfers

Primary operations are in the United States. Canadian client data may be processed in both countries. Where required, we rely on contractual clauses and vendor diligence for transfers.
